A young scholar who penned his first book "Sherman Jackson" as part of the 'Introducing Scholars' series by Other Books. Khaleel is a student of Shafi Jurisprudence and Ash'ari theology at Madeenathunnoor College of Islamic Science, Poonoor. In periodicals and magazines, Khaleel writes commentaries on the topics of his interest in cultural studies, anthropology and Islamic political thought.
